1. Information we collect
- Vehicle inquiries: name, email, phone, message, preferred dates.
- Financing applications: full legal name, date of birth, Social Security Number, driver's license, current and prior address, employment, income, and trade-in information. Co-applicant information when provided.
- Document uploads: identification, pay stubs, proof of residence, and similar supporting documents.
- Auction requests: vehicle preferences, budget, timeline, and trade-in details.
- Auction Rep Program: business information, ID documents, and payment references.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar log data.
2. Auto sales and inquiries
Information you submit when inquiring about a vehicle is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule test drives, and follow up with relevant offers. We do not sell vehicle inquiry data to third parties.
3. Financing applications and credit authorization
Information submitted on financing applications, including your Social Security Number, is used solely to evaluate your application, obtain credit reports from consumer reporting agencies, and share with participating lenders for underwriting. Your SSN is encrypted at rest using authenticated encryption (AES-256-GCM) and is never displayed in full on the website; staff dashboards display only the last four digits.
4. Document uploads
Documents you upload (ID, pay stubs, proof of residence) are stored in private storage that requires authenticated, role-based access. Files are retrieved using short-lived signed URLs (expiring in roughly two minutes) generated only when an authorized staff member views them.
5. Auction request services
Information submitted through "Find Me a Car" is used to source matching vehicles, contact you with availability, and arrange purchase paperwork. We may share limited details (e.g. vehicle preferences, budget range) with auction partners as required to perform the service.
6. Auction Rep Program
Information submitted to enroll in the Auction Rep Program — including business details and ID documents — is used to verify eligibility, process tier payments, and provide program services. Payment references are recorded for accounting purposes.
7. Electronic communication consent
By providing your email address or phone number you consent to receive electronic communications regarding your inquiry or application. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to SMS or using the unsubscribe link in emails. Transactional messages (e.g. application status updates) may continue as needed to complete your request.
8. How we share information
We share information with lenders, auction partners, payment processors, and service providers only as needed to perform the services you request, or as required by law. We do not sell personal information.
9. Data retention
We retain submission data for the period reasonably necessary to provide the requested services and to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
10. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law (e.g. completed transactions, credit decisions).
